It is normal to wonder will window tint ruin the view or not. The answer would depend on how dark the tint is. In most countries, a window tint that is 5% dark would be deemed illegal. The reason for that is that it can be the main cause of tons of vehicular accidents happening all over the area. If a police officer sees you have window tint as dark as that then they can deem your vehicle barred to roam the streets. Thus, you can’t drive the car unless you do something about it as soon as possible. Of course, you can’t really change the darkness of the tint while it is there. You really have no choice but to remove it altogether and install a brand new one. Believe it or not, having a tint as dark as that can cost you your life so you better think twice about getting it. After all, the rules are there for your own safety.
Window tints offer tons of benefits like improving the aesthetic value of the vehicle and blocking the sun’s harmful UV rays. However, there are a few limits when it comes to the tint and one of them is the darkness. Thus, those that are not that dark will not really ruin the view. Of course, the place where you put the tint will play a huge role in how it blocks the view. That will most likely happen when the weather is a bit rainy or cloudy. It can also be dangerous when it is night time. Of course, it is a totally different story when you have a sunny weather. In order to avoid fines, it would be a lot better to put the window tint on your side mirrors or even the rear one.
